I'm a computational material scientist, currently pursuing a PhD at the TU Vienna. I love physics related things and programming has become one of my favorite occupations in the last years. This website is the result of a hobby project I started to experiment with web development. During the process I realized, that I could use this website to also deal with another thing I really enjoy: visualizing and communicating scientific topics. You will therefore find a variety of different stuff here concerning my research and potentially also other outcomes of future hobby projects.

My main research project over the last few years has been the Nested Sampling algorithm and how it can be applied in modern materials research. On this page, you can therefore find a variety of articles where I try to explain the basic concepts behind nested sampling for a broader audience and with the help of animations and interactive figures. For the advanced readers, I also summarize the main findings of my most recent publications and I try to upload (interactive) versions of the slides I used for public talks. If you just enjoy clicking through a bunch of animations, this might however also be interesting for non-experts.
